2009 Annual Meeting Sunday, January 25, 2009 Click each photo to enlarge. Outgoing President Peter Midgarden, recently suffering from a sprained ankle, called the meeting to order from a wheel chair. The congregation reviewed the 2009 Annual Report and elected two new Church Council members to replace Vera Avera and Peter Midgarden who were precluded from another term of office by Church By-Laws. Charlie Canning was elected to the Church Council. He also reported on Building Committee oversight for 2008, a Committee which he chaired. Click each photo to enlarge. Ernie Burnett has served on the Thrivent Chapter Board this past year as well as managing the Church Museum and Library. He continues to serve on the Church Council. Betty Pitcher chaired the Church Audit Committee and reported the Church Books were in order for 2008. Darlene Tasso was re-elected to a term as Church Treasurer. She also continues to manage our Church Newsletter which can now be received via e-mail. Click each photo to enlarge. Becky Vasko (l) and Vera Avera both served on the 2008 Church Board. Becky will continue in 2009. She currently serves as Congregation Council Secretary. Shirley Stephens was elected to the Church Council for 2009.
