The task of landscaping the East Side of Zion Lutheran Church
began with assessment of the task. Charlie Canning, Becky Vasko, and
Steve Vasko determine which jobs have to come first. Steve is
leaning on the newly install lattice work which will surround the air
conditioning units.

Mary Kinsey and Vera Avera begin putting the pansies in. In a
neat row behind them are the perennials which will be installed along
the ramp to the sanctuary.
|
Meanwhile, Linda Gibbs is on the South Side of the Fellowship Hall
working with another batch of pansies.
|
Vera Avera checks the alignment of this batch of pansies before
moving on to the perennials.
|
The "pansy crew" takes a minute to pose before working with that
pine straw to mulch the new flowers.
|
Meanwhile, behind the lattice Becky Vasko is working on the
precise alignment as Steve Vasko offers encouragement.
|
Mack Gibbs worked on the corner of the church with both perennials
and annuals. Nice work with those camellias, petunias, and ferns, Mack.
