Lutheran Build in Robertsdale Saturday, March 13, 2010 The Habitat for Humanity home-building with Lutherans has been underway for a number of weeks now. Ned Owens has coordinated the over-all event. Area Lutheran churches have supported the building work with muscle-power and with food. Zion Lutheran Church supplied the lunch on March 13 with pulled-pork sandwiches, potato salad, an assortment of store-bought and home-made cookies, among a variety of foods. Everything was set up on the table for buffet-type food service. Cindi Johnson and Janice Owens discussed the morning events by the recycling set-up. Siding was applied to the 85% completed house, one board at a time. Lighting supplied to interior work allowed work to continue after the building was framed and enclosed. Silverhill's Zion Lutheran Church served the lunch for the day and the crew lined up after brief devotions by Pastor Dave.
