Mission Workshop August 13 and 14, 2005          Zion hosted Pastor Jim Gerdeen on August 13 and 14 for its 2005 workshop on Lutheran missions. Pastor Gerdeen gave a Sunday morning message.          Pastor Jim Gerdeen brought a message, “Christ's Vision for our Mission and Purpose in Today's Church: To Pray as Jesus Prayed in John 17,” to the congregation of Zion Lutheran Church of Silverhill, Alabama, on Sunday August 14, 2005.
