Emmaus Lutheran Church Invites Pastor Dave to Speak about Zion and Aid to Katrina Victims
Pastor Gary Haug and his congregation of Emmaus Lutheran Church of Bloomington, MN invited Pastor Dave to participate in its “Standing in the Gap” series in Bloomington, MN. On November 13, 2005, Pastor Dave and Cindi shared the work of Zion Lutheran Church in ministering to the needs of Hurricane Katrina victims.

Pastor Dave noted that Emmaus Lutheran Church along with seven other congregations and many individuals in them have helped Zion. Another two dozen individuals have sent funds directly to Zion to assist in hurricane relief efforts. He noted that we should not forget a Girl Scout in North Dakota responsible for sending lots of boxes of Bibles and school supplies that were delivered to Christ Lutheran Church in Pascagoula by Pastor Dittman.
