Henri Burnett, Cindi Johnson, and Pastor Dave Johnson of Zion Lutheran Church in Silverhill, Alabama traveled to Pascagoula, Mississippi, August 27, 2006 to attend the dedication of Christ Lutheran Church's new Allen AP30 Digital Organ. Surge waters from Hurricane Katrina reached to approximately a foot or so below the windows of this historic Missouri Synod church. Zion Lutheran Church of Silverhill first became aware of Christ Lutheran's problems post-Katrina through interim Pastor Dittman.

     Dr. Michaelle Tramel Harrison, Organist, Children's Choir Director, and Music Assistant at First Baptist Church of Pascaoula presented a Recital Program inaugurating Christ Lutheran Church's Allen AP30 Digital Organ, featuring works of J. S. Bach, L. C. Daquin, and C. Franck. Area musician Earl E. Turner, Interim Director of Music Ministries for the First Presbyterian Church of Pascagoula joined Dr. Harrison with trumpet in "Now Thank We All Our God," Chorale from "Cantata No. 79," by J. S. Bach as arranged by E. Power Biggs. Additional festivities included the dedication of facilities in the restored Christ Lutheran Church of Pascagoula.
