Nursing Home Ministry at Beverly Health Care in Foley Reluctantly, after several years of worship ministry once a month, Zion Lutheran Church curtailed its Foley Nursing Home protestant services because of recurring scheduling conflicts. During recent Sunday afternoon services seen here, Zion volunteers joined together for a time of song, reading God's Word, prayer, and a short message with residents. Until a new worship opportunity presents itself, Zion will continue ministering to any members at the Home on an individual basis. Long-time Zion member and Foley Home resident Ed Dornow continues to receive a monthly visit for communion and fellowship. Zion continues to minister to Foley Nursing Home residents through a program which provides for the personal needs of residents needing cosmetics, socks, and the like.
