Charlie Canning prepared to install doorstops on office and classroom  doors.  The doors had been "over opened" since installation five  years ago with the result that door handles were penetrating sheet  rock.  Doorstops will eliminate further damage.  As a side benefit,  the addition of the doorstops will eliminate the accidental locking  of doors secondary to door handles' button locks being depressed with  the over opening problem.

On the bell tower, the curved window has been deteriorating secondary  to rainwater entering the window framing through the molding.  Steve  Vasko mounted scaffolding to begin the process of restoration.

The metal flashing (white and lying of the ground) had been installed  so that rain water was inadvertently entering the wall and window  supporting structures.

The result of rain water and time in the wall caused major rot and  deterioration.

Peter Midgarden rustled through tools and caulking to obtain a  desired tool for dismantling the window.

Pete Midgarden (l) discussed work strategy with Steve Vasko midway  through removal of the window for repair.

Soon Vasko and Midgarden were back on  task.
