Zion Members and Friends
Enjoy Delta Tour
June 18, 2005

Thirty-four members and friends of Zion enjoyed a cruise up the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta aboard the Blakeley State Park's "Delta Explorer", a 50 passenger covered pontoon excursion boat. The weather was close to perfect and no one was bothered with pesky bugs!  The two-hour trip was well narrated with hands on samples of animal pelts and bones. The passengers were allowed to see up close the unique plant and animal wildlife as they gently glided among the creeks and bayous that make up the vast delta area.
