SILVERHILL FAIR 1925



         This was the Fourth Annual Silverhill Fair that was sponsored by the Silverhill Community and Fair Association. The 1925 Fair Association officers were Charles M. Lyrene, President; Dr. O.F.E. Winberg, Vice-President; Peter Forsman, Secretary; N.J. Mohe, Treasurer; Oscar Johnson, Director.

         The 1925 Fair was held October 22-25 in Silverhill, Alabama. The Fair Building doors were open to visitors each day from 9am to 11pm. Admission prices were 25 cents per day or 50 cents per season for individuals over 15 years of age. Children between the ages of 10 and 15 years were charged 15 cents per day or 25 cents per season. Under age 10 were admitted free.


This booklet was hand typed and copied by the Fair Association. It had a paper cover and was printed on newspaper quality paper measuring 6 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches high with hole punched fastners on the side. It did not have any advertising. The winner's names were hand written on each page.
