SILVERHILL FAIR 1938
This was the Twelfth Annual Baldwin County Fair that was sponsored by the Silverhill Chamber of Commerce. The 1938 Baldwin County Fair Association officers were H.G. Erickson, President; Rubin Norman, Vice-President; A.M. Phillips, Secretary; G.L. Chandler, Treasurer.
The 1938 Fair was held September 26 to October 1 in Silverhill, Alabama. The Fair Building doors were open to visitors each day from 9am to 11pm. Admission prices were 25 cents for adults per day or 50 cents for season tickets. Children were charged 10 cents per day or 25 cents for season tickets.
The information catalogue had a thin orange cardboard cover with pages printed on newspaper quality paper measuring 8 inches wide by 9 inches high folded in half and stapled to make a booklet 4 inches wide by 9 inches high. Every page contained advertising and was printed by Onlooker Print, Foley, Alabama.
