Pastor Dave "Cools It" in Wisconsin
"It was 15 degrees below zero when I left Minneapolis on Saturday morning," Pastor Dave Johnson from Silverhill's Zion Lutheran Church reported. "For Alabamians, that's a little cool. But you know, we have the RBC in Baldwin County now. That Royal Bank of Canada operates on the north side of the Minnesota border. Rumor has it that up in International Falls the RBC actually now warms up their cold, hard cash, before shipping it down for us folks to use here in Alabama," Johnson opined with tongue in cheek, of course.
Pastors Greg Lenz (Faith Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN), David Johnson (Zion Lutheran Church, Silverhill, AL), Lyndon Korhonen (Good Shepherd Free Lutheran Church, Cokato, MN), and David Johnson (St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cloquet, MN) (l to r) shared a moment at the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations' "Pastors Conference" at the Association Retreat Center in Osceola, WI.

Pastor Dave joined the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations' pastors from across the United States in a time of fellowship and study. Prayer and the devotional life was a special topic of interest "warmly" presented by Pastor Dale Finstrom (Maple Bay Free Lutheran Church, Fertile, MN).
