1 pkg. yeast

¼ cup warm water or cream

1 tsp. sugar

1 cup warm cream

½ tsp. salt

4 egg yolks

4 Tbs. melted butter

2 Tbs. sugar

1 tsp. vanilla or lemon rind

3 cups flour

1. Mix 1 pkg. yeast in ¼ cup warm water or cream, add 1 tsp. sugar, let rise.

2. Beat egg yolks, add sugar, butter and 1 cup warm cream, add other ingredients.

3. Let rise until double, then pat or roll out ½ inch thick, cut in small squares, put in fruit, roll up let rise until light, fry.
